How to apply
Apply online to secure your Integrated Foundation Year place.
Your application for an undergraduate course should be made via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) system.
Entry requirements and the selection process
Due to the wide range of qualifications that we accept, it is difficult to be specific about the grades required. All applications are considered on their individual merit, and we take into consideration your qualifications, personal statement and your referee’s comments. You may also be asked to attend an Academic Assessment.
You must demonstrate a high degree of motivation to reach your chosen Department after the Foundation Year.
English language requirements
We require you to be proficient in English to undertake one of our courses. If you would like to check whether your qualifications are suitable before applying, please feel free to contact us.
For international students, we generally require an English Language qualification equivalent to an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with no less than 5.5 in any component. However, if you intend to study for a degree in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, you will need an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5, with no less than 6.0 in any component.
